Our current bridge provider, Polyhedra, has notified us of their decision to cease their cross-chain bridge operations imminently. This cessation will directly impact the current bridging solution for $THE tokens between opBNB and BNB Chain. Furthermore, significant network upgrades, specifically hard forks on both opBNB and BNB Chain, are scheduled to occur before the end of this month (April 2025). Polyhedra has indicated they will not be updating their platform to support these protocol changes. Consequently, the existing $THE bridge, accessible via https://thena.zkbridge.com/bridge, will cease to function following the opBNB hard fork, which is scheduled for April 21st, 2025, at 3:00 AM UTC. ⚠️ Action Required: Users who anticipate needing to transfer $THE tokens between opBNB and BNB Chain (in either direction) before the deployment of our new solution should utilize the current bridge (https://thena.zkbridge.com/bridge) prior to the April 21st, 3:00 AM UTC deadline. ⚒️ Future Solution: We have successfully developed proprietary smart contracts to facilitate future $THE token transfers between these chains.
