The tldr is that we’re making great progress and truly amazing things are happening behind the scenes. To keep you all in the loop, I’ve instructed the COTI team to now do a weekly update on progress. V2 Launch and Timeline Tomorrow, we're launching the enhanced V2 on Testnet environment, our most advanced version yet, with 95% of the code complete. It's significantly faster, and you can test it on the testnet environment and give us feedback! Next, we'll stress test for stability as of this Friday for a couple of weeks and conduct a 3rd party audit starting February 2nd for 7 weeks. If the chain withstands stress tests and the audit's preliminary report shows no critical issues, we should be ready to launch in the 4th week of March. This is an estimate, not a promise. Communication and Priorities I keep my promises. Delivering an innovative, secure, and well-performing COTI V2 is my promise to you, and it's non-negotiable. Timelines, however, are estimations. Developing cutting-edge software requires flexibility. The COTI team is laser focused on quality, security, innovation, and adoption above all else. I’m sure you agree that this will determine our success much more than if we launched at that week or the other. Folks, We’re almost there and it's a good time to start getting excited. Nodes and Decentralization V2 will launch with community-managed nodes. We'll start with a limited number of nodes and expand significantly in Q2 (which is what I meant in the Forbes X spaces). Nodes V2 will be a huge leap in the COTI offering to our community, all of you can participate and be rewarded. Expect future updates. It’s OK to be Optimistic There are tremendous powers behind us now. The Ethereum ecosystem, under the guidance of Vitalik Buterin, is stirring to improve privacy standards and solutions. We’re part of the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance enables us to be at the forefront of things as they shape. $21 Trillion of Real World Assets are waiting to be deployed and quote "Privacy" as the missing piece.
